Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)
RFA is a form of Endothermal Ablation and is recognised by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence as the first-line treatment for varicose veins. It is a keyhole procedure that uses radiofrequency energy (like laser) and local anaesthetic. Radiofrequency Ablation is suited to treat less superficial varicose veins, improving their appearance and relieving symptoms such as heaviness, pain and skin irritation. Ultrasound-Guided Foam Sclerotherapy (UGFS)

Microsclerotherapy
